About Me
Hi, I'm Rebekah Facteau, RDN (she/her). I've been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist since 2014 and have worked in a variety of settings including public health, food service and hospitality and as a private chef in New York City. In each of these roles I’ve worked with people individually and in groups to enhance their relationship with themselves and their food. I pursue food with curiosity from almost every angle--through the lens of health and nutrition therapy, the precision of baking, and rituals of cooking, the notion of self care, and ultimately through the pleasure of eating, which has led me to open this private practice in the pursuit of empowering others to cultivate a peaceful relationship with their plate and their body.

My Approach
My approach to nutrition counseling is anchored by the 10 Principles of Intuitive Eating. This framework allows us to work together to reconnect with your body's innate wisdom so that you can quit dieting, make peace with food, and cultivate a trusting relationship with your body. I am an Anti-Diet Dietitian, and practice from the perspective of Health At Every Size (HAES ®). I respect all body shapes, sizes, and gender expressions. I take your trust and hold it gently.

Geting Help
I understand that it's not easy to ask for help. I promise to respond to your inquiry and accommodate your needs to the best of my ability. In the event that we aren't a good match I will refer you to someone who may be better qualified to help you.
